EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF THE EUCHARIST: 

This special calling of the lay people of the parish assists the clergy during Mass in distributing the Precious Body and Blood of Jesus Christ during communion.  Such a calling is confirmed by the Pastor and approved by the Bishop.  We need EMs for Masses and for distribution of communion to the sick and homebound.  Each type of EM requires special training and formation.  We love to see young people involved in this ministry, especially once they have received Confirmation.  We look for responsible, prayerful people who have a reverence for the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist and seek to serve the Lord in a special way.
