ART AND ENVIRONMENT

Sometimes we wonder “Who actually puts the flowers up there?” or “I wonder if the Church needs help decorating or preparing for Christmas or Easter?”  This very dedicated group of volunteers strives to keep the Church looking its best by maintaining a sense of noble simplicity throughout the church calendar.  They pay important attention to the seasonal differences between Lent and Advent, First Communion, Confirmation, Days of Holy Obligation and the feast days.  They aren’t just “artists” but true caretakers of the Church environment so that our spiritual worship experience is enhanced by color and appropriateness of décor.  We are always looking for the extra hands to carry out the various tasks necessary.
