CATHOLIC DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAS

This organization participates in the religious, charitable and educational Apostolate of the Church.  Their motto is “Unity and Charity”.  Mary is the spiritual Mother and Patroness of the order.  Mary teaches the true meaning of devotion and love of God and love of neighbor.  Meetings are held the second Monday of each month except for January, July and August.  National, State and local projects give CDA members the opportunity to demonstrate love and charity to the less fortunate and to the world at large.  Some projects have included benefits for St. Vincent DePaul, Project Linus, Adopt a Family for Christmas, Layette Collections, CDA Kid, benefits for St. Joseph School, Mother Theresa’s Haiti Mission, Relay for Life, and Religious Appreciation.
